Untitled from Bronston Keliipuleole on Vimeo.

Here is a reboot of my name template project. I tried using mograph options to do a morph from the cube to my name, but the computer at the school wouldn't render it, and it wouldn't let me preview. It just froze everytime i tried to do any type of mograph that involve a polygon that i created, it was pretty lame.

For Devin: Trampoline Tutorial

This one's for Devin:

This took me about 25 minutes to throw together and render. I think we were over-thinking it in class. I have the actual .c4d file, but BlogSpot won't accept attachments, so go to:

https://public.me.com/onceuponastage

In the "Ai" folder should be a file labeled: "TrampNball.c4d" Just download it and open and you'll be able to copy all of the objects and attributes to your project.

Hope this helps.

Short product ad

Smirnoff video advertisement from Bronston Keliipuleole on Vimeo.

This doesn't relate to any of the class assignments. But I have been looking for ways to take what I am learning in this class and applying them to my other classes that deal with the DFV major. I animated the title shot for this short 24 second commercial and did some editing and sound design on it as well. Nothing is taken from any of the smirnoff ads previously done. I designed the path for the logo in illustrator and exported it into c4d. I then made a flag from a plain and animated it with wind. I then added text and exported it as an alpha channel. I put it into after effects, where i finished with the text on the bottom.

Hope you guys like it, feel free to comment on it. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Bronston Keliipuleole (Name animation)

Untitled from Bronston Keliipuleole on Vimeo.

So this is my final draft for the name text assignment. I know the background and foreground is a little flat, and the yellow texts is a little funky. However, I was more or less trying to figure out exactly what I was doing so that I may improve more in the future.

Final Surreal

Does anyone know if Ashley still wants the final draft printed?

So I really worked hard on this one, I had to spend around 6 hours researching before I even started the rest of this photo. I really wanted to capture a really warm scene with plant life and a digital scene being where the robot was running to. The only problem is that when I made it, I thought the digital end looked terrible. So I raised the digital city above a computer chip which looks like water, however, I really like the look of the water so I kept it the way it is. The concept for this is very much based off the movie astro boy as this giant city lifted off the ground seperates the perfect godlike world from the deserted land. The robot is just lost technology that is left to wonder the world.
